Established in 1956, Govt. College of Education, Bhopal has been upgraded to Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE), Bhopal in 1998. Affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal, the institution has been recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
